November 19 is the day of leaving…

But I take heart… the Lord God Almighty watches over my coming and going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:8)… which includes November 19. I trust that He is my shepherd (Psalm 23:1) and the good leader of my life (Song of Songs 5:11). He knows the plans He has for me, plans to prosper me and not to harm me, plans to give me a hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). Yes, November 19 is the day I leave a whole lot of things which I’ve come to love… but the One I love above all else will never leave me nor forsake me (Deuteronomy 31:6)… the One who is love (1 John 4:8, 16) is with me always, even unto the end of the age (Matthew 28:20).

 And so I’m still sad to be leaving… but how sad can I be when I have God? His Word gives me strength… it is my joy and heart’s delight (Jeremiah 15:16)… thus why I currently feel better after quoting all those verses :)… I have God wherever I go, and His love remains unchanging… so I can be content in every circumstance (Philippians 4:11).

And while I’m leaving things and people I love, I’m also returning to things and people I love… so I’m enjoying my time here while getting ready to go home. I’ve had enough of kicking and screaming about leaving… I trust God. All things work together for the good of those who love Him (Romans 8:28)… including the upcoming events of November 19.
