Comments on: Thoughts on Psalm 62:5

Bibles differ on newer and older virsions, my psalm 62.5 reads:” i find rest in god, only he gives me hope” yet all 3 of our versions are about/or link to keeping hope in God. They just change due to the diffrent versions. Its important to find the correct version that suits you best ie. simpler or more complex versions.

my verse 5, psalm 62 does not say what yours does. Mine reads as follows, For God alone I wait silently; my hope comes from him. This changes the meaning significantly. I have been googling this passage for a while, trying to find different takes on it. Nut as yor bible differs from mine, it is hard to do…..
